The Student TechHub provides personal technical assistance and device support to ensure students remain connected and productive with their creative tools. This resource offers software troubleshooting, account configuration, and access to the SCAD loaner laptop program.
Services Offered
The TechHub staff provides guidance to students for personal devices, including Windows and Mac computers, iPhones, iPads, and Android devices. Support includes:
Software Support: Assistance with installs and updates for Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft 365, and other essential applications.
General Troubleshooting: Resolving issues with slow performance, application crashes, and Wi-Fi connectivity.
Account Setup: Helping with SCAD email configuration and authenticated network access.
Device Maintenance: Guidance on storage cleanup and system settings optimization.
Loaner Laptop Program
If a personal computer requires extensive repair or is unavailable, SCAD offers a loaner laptop program to ensure coursework is not interrupted.
Loaner laptops are available to students meeting specific eligibility requirements.

The TechHub is open for 30 minute appointments during the following hours:
Students can find the TechHub at these campus locations:
Atlanta Campus: Located in 1600 Main, Room 308.
Savannah Campus: Located in the Jen Library, First Floor.
How to Schedule an Appointment
To receive assistance, students should book an appointment using the steps below:

Navigate to the appropriate reservation link for your campus:
Select an available time slot.
Bring your device and any necessary charging cables to the TechHub Service Desk at your scheduled time.

Limitations of Support
The TechHub does not provide the following services:
Hardware Repair: Staff cannot fix cracked screens, internal battery issues, or liquid damage.
Part Replacement: The TechHub does not stock or replace physical components or accessories.
