Adding parents or guardians to Touchnet

Follow these steps to add an authorized user to a student account:

Log into MySCAD
Click on the ‘My Info’ tab
Locate the ‘My Student Account’ channel
Click on ‘My Student Account Online’
TouchNet will open in a new screen. Click the ‘Authorized Users’ link on the menu bar
Enter the email address of your parent or family member and follow the steps listed
Two emails will be sent to the new authorized user (one with a username, one with a temporary password and link) which allow them access to your student account online

The first email will look like the below:

This is an automated message to inform you that the student listed below has granted you access to his or her online billing information. You now have the ability to make payments on behalf of this student, schedule or automate future payments, and more. For your first login, you will use the URL and password shown below. For security, your username for this account is sent in a separate message.

The second email will look like the below:

Once access is given parents/guardians can access the touch net portal at https://secure.touchnet.net/C21354_tsa/web/login.jsp

Parent should click on the link for Authorized User (the second link).
